My little piece of the internet

So after a busy month at my new job, I have had plenty of time to reflect and look back on how I used to write. Compared to how I write now, there is no comparison.

One common theme that will always remain running through is of course my little man. The reason for me writing this was to share my experiences as a full time working mum.

To show people that it can be done, and to share all my worries and concerns with raising him whilst he is in nursery full time.

I used to write more about our experiences and adventures at the weekends.

However for one reason or another, that has stopped recently. I don’t want anyone thinking we don’t have fun or don’t anything at weekends because we do.

Our weekends are jam packed full of activities. Saturday mornings are for swimming lessons, Sunday mornings are for football. The afternoons are usually spent pottering around, cleaning and tidying or going for a coffee or for a little walk in the woods.

It isn’t that we don’t do anything. I just don’t feel the need to document the same thing all the time at the moment.

Nothing stays the same forever. Everything changes eventually, no matter how big or small.

One thing I know is that I still love my blog. My little piece of the internet.

It is my way of expressing myself sometimes when I can’t anywhere else. So it will always remain about my little man and him growing up, but it, like everything else is evolving.

Changing and adapting to life’s complications and situations.

I am just glad that people still enjoy reading it, and that I am able to express my thoughts in my own little way.

So yes there may not have been many posts about having fun with little man or with family and friends at the moment. It doesn’t mean it isn’t happening.

  1. I don’t think any of us would ever assume you weren’t doing fun stuff with you son because you weren’t blogging about it. In fact, I would assume you were too busy doing fun stuff to have time to blog 🙂 I know what you mean about your piece of the internet though. My blog is the same – my piece of the world, place to get my thoughts out and, honestly, something to keep my occupied in my short spaces of downtime! #fortheloveofBLOG

  2. I don’t blog everything that we do. I’m pretty sure no one wants to know about what I’ve bought in Tesco or how many times my kids have asked me a stupid question that day lol.
