Of course I want to spend every minute with my little man. Well I say every minute….not so much when he is having one of his legendary tantrums. The ones that result in him running round the house screaming NO at the top of his voice while throwing anything he can get his hands on.
So far, to name a few, I have experienced being hit in the head by flying cars, being head butted in the nose by an over tired, over excited little monkey at bedtime and talking about poo and wee wee’s for 5 minutes.

We as women make each other feel guilty. Guilty for being slim and putting make up on a few weeks after having a baby. Guilty for being podgy and not putting make up on a few weeks after having a baby.
What I found sad about the situation I found myself watching on Saturday was that the toddler even said no to the pink bowl. It wasn’t just the choice of the parent.
I only spend about 2 hours a day with little man during the week being a full time working mum. Story time to me is special and an opportunity to put on silly voices and use our imagination.
