Dressing for comfort…

When I first started buying clothes for little man, the clothing gaps were really close together. Newborn, 0-3 months, 3-6 months until you get to 1 years old.

I got really excited when we finally reached 1 as we could buy a few more different items of clothing that lasted longer.

So now my 19 month old is already in 2 – 3 years clothing, I thought I ought to treat him to a new toddler wardrobe.

As he is at nursery every day during the week, we usually go for plain joggers and t-shirts to make sure he is comfy. He is so active and they do so much with him at nursery, that he just lives in joggers.

When we are chilling out at home, hubby will always put on a pair of joggers, and I tend to get changed in to a long top and a pair of leggings. We dress for comfort at home, that is definitely something we as a family all agree on.

Now little man is a bit older, there is a lot more to choose from. It really is difficult dressing a toddler and making sure they look nice but practical when we go out.

Jumpers and hoodies are a must to match with joggers, but also to wear with smarter trousers.

Now it is Spring, I love the different coloured chinos that you can get and the cute polo shirts. Next have loads of different styles.

My favourite coat is from Joules. Little man lives in it at the moment whilst it is still chilly in the mornings when we do the nursery drop off.

So I suppose we do make an effort sometimes, but you cannot beat casual clothing and a lazy day at home.
