U Star Novels – Review & Competition

So recently I was asked if I would like to work with U Star Novels. It was coming up to Valentine’s Day and they wanted some promotion for their personalised romantic novels.

I researched the company and took time to look through their website and found that they weren’t just romantic and somewhat erotic novels – they actually personalise children’s novels like Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

They also sell ‘word pads’ to help children with their first words which I thought was a great idea.

So whereas romantic and couples novels aren’t really my thing, children’s novels most definitely are.

I was sent a code to order the book of my choice. I could choose a novel, personalise it and even add a photo. I also got an e-book sent to me within the hour of confirmation too.

In the end, I chose Peter Pan. Slightly advanced for my toddler but he will love it when he is older and can start reading about himself in the story.

The process was relatively straight forward – well it would have been if I hadn’t have picked the novel with a zillion characters in it to re name and fit in with my family. Once I picked the characters names, I clicked confirm.

It takes about a week for the book to arrive which is really quick when you think that the book has been personalised and needs printing especially for you. Of course you get your e-book if you choose that option so you can see what it will be like before it arrives.

Prices start from £16.95 and vary considering on which style of novel you wish to buy.

I would definitely use U Star Novels in the future. The personalisation really brings something new and different to the book. The fact that you can choose your friends and families names and include them in a story makes it a real keepsake and very special.
