Fashion & Gossip Fuelled Friday

This week has flown by. With having a long weekend, it has been so busy at work catching up plus it has been hubby’s birthday and our wedding anniversary this week too so we have had lots to celebrate. To be honest we will be celebrating more this weekend with quality family time and going out for lunch.

I had a catch up day at work on Thursday after a long day on the Wednesday so I dressed pretty casual and comfortable rather than my usual professional work attire.

My jumper is from French Connection and jeans from Topshop.

I was incredibly happy to find that The Apprentice had started again this week. I absolutely love it, and I would love to know how much of it is edited to show the candidates in different ways. It was obvious who was going and I cannot wait to watch the next episode. The highlight of the first episode for me was when Karen Brady was talking about Ruth Whiteley (the one in the really weird looking pink tartan suit) about her creepy sales technique….but that it was actually working. Working in a sales environment myself, it made me laugh as I wonder how many of us actually work with someone like that ourselves?

Last nights episode was no exception. It does make you wonder where they found these ‘candidates’ from? Working in a sales & marketing position, even I could come up with a better marketing strategy than the girls team did last night….as could my hubby who knows nothing about marketing….

So back to fashion….

My pick of the week are these cute ballet pumps. Now those of you that read last weeks post will recognise something similar but I managed to find a pair of pumps that were a lot cheaper so I had to share them with you all.

Thanks to Next £28.00

My second pick of the week are these amazing Leigh jeans from Topshop. I have them in blue, grey and burgundy and will be getting a pair of black ready for winter.

I live in skinny jeans, tops and either pumps or boots depending on how cold it is so you can never have enough pairs. The fabric is really soft, so not as harsh as other jeans which makes them incredibly comfortable to wear – especially when you are running after little ones and getting on the floor to play or picking them up all the time.

Have a good weekend and enjoy your fashion and gossip fuelled Friday…

  1. My husbands birthday is rhe same week as our wedding anniversary too. We did chose that week to get married specifically so he would have no excuse for forgetting our aniversary!!
