It has been another busy week this week as I am off for a long weekend to Center Parcs. I am very excited about spending some time with the family. I have never been to a Center Parcs before either so I am looking forward to being a newbie and letting you all know my thoughts and tips on what to look out for when anyone goes there.
My favourite outfit of this week has been my smart casual work look – I have been wearing a lot of them recently. I decided to bring some colour in to my outfit with a cute cardie.
I am wearing a Next skirt, a plain Topshop t-shirt, Oasis cardigan and Stella & Dot necklace.
The biggest news this week was that Nadiya Hussain was crowned this years Great British Bake Off Winner for 2015. A record 14.5 million people tuned in to watch the final on Wednesday night. According to reports, it beat last years viewing figures and has been the most watched show on UK channels in 2015.
It is no surprise considering how baking has become the ‘in’ thing to do. I never used to be a baker until I had my little one and I try and bake something every week. Now don’t get me wrong, I am not going to be on the 2016 Bake Off or even make the 2020 Bake Off series for that matter, but I like to get my little boy involved in the kitchen and try a few simple recipes at least.
So back to fashion….
Pick of the week 1
My picks of the week have been tough. I found these amazing pumps which I have to have! They would be amazing with skinny jeans and a blazer for a sophisticated weekend look but I could also dress them up for work.
Kurt Geiger – Libra Tan Flat Ballet Pumps £69.00
Pick of the week 2
I went to East Midlands Designer Outlet last weekend and I found a great top for my early morning runs in the Nike shop. Their sportswear is great, and even better as they are at discounted prices. I love the colour and can’t wait to wear it on my weekend runs when it gets chilly.
Nike – £40.00
